Micro Silica Powder ( R R SF )
Composition: Microsilica is primarily made up of amorphous silicon dioxide (SiO₂), which is chemically similar to the silica found in sand, but in much finer form.
Particle Size: The particles of microsilica are incredibly fine, typically around 100 times smaller than the particles in ordinary cement. This gives it unique properties compared to other materials used in concrete and construction.
High Reactivity: Due to its extremely fine particle size and high surface area, microsilica is highly reactive when mixed with water and cement. This makes it an effective pozzolan, meaning it reacts with calcium hydroxide in cement to form additional cementitious materials, enhancing the concrete’s properties.
